    Your tasks

    • As Senior UX/UI Designer you will design digital product- and service-experiences across a broad range of industries, making a positive impact on all areas of life
    • As part of a young team, you will be responsible for leading international projects and work together with new and existing clients, such as Audi, BSH, Deli, Fraunhofer IPA, Haier, Hansgrohe, Huawei, LG, LUQEL, Rittal, Stiebel Eltron, Still, Trumpf, Vorwerk, Wilkhahn
    • Working in interdisciplinary teams, you will make broad use of your core-skillset as Senior UX/UI Designer, but also get a chance to learn and apply new knowledge from other disciplines
    • During projects, you will engage in a diverse mix of activities – from running ideation sessions and design-crits to managing design projects and presenting your work to clients

     

    Your expertise

    • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international design-consultancy setting
    • Experience in client-management, running workshops, presentations and leading projects
    • High level of creativity and passion for innovative concepts and designs
    • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Chinese and/or German skills would be beneficial
    • Robust and up-to-date knowledge of relevant design-trends and technologies
    • Self-directed, yet highly-cooperative and flexible workstyle within the team
    • Reflected, but outspoken and courageous character with high emotional intelligence
    • Routined application of design processes and methods

    Your Tasks

    In this position, you are the contact person for Public Relations at the PHOENIX locations in Stuttgart, Munich, and Shanghai. You are proficient in both digital and classic brand PR, and the creative tonality of your texts is thoroughly compelling. Your tasks comprise:
     

    • Planning, implementing, steering, and controlling PR activities in collaboration with the PHOENIX team, with our clients and other business partners, e.g. for awards, events (“Lunch Talk”), congress speeches, and university lectures.
       
    • Developing and implementing Social Media content connecting PHOENIX and our strategic direction with the world, covering the vital interfaces.
       
    • Coordinating queries from the press, as well as interview planning and accompanying. You are the interface to our clients’ PR and Marketing departments.
       
    • You are responsible for all image and text information on our PHOENIX Web site (CMS). Writing SEO copy is a matter of course for you. When it comes to the multimedia execution and the interconnection of content, you will be supported by our internal team.
       
    • Compiling, coordinating and sending out newsletters and press releases. Maintaining and expanding our press mailing list. You will also keep an eye on all relevant online design platforms as well as our clients’ Web sites regarding the PHOENIX brand.
       
    • You are the contact person for journalists and editorial staff, staying in close contact with further relevant organisations. You take on the coordination of design competitions and external service providers.

     

     

    Your Expertise

    • Degree in communication sciences, journalism, or a similar relevant subject.
       
    • Very good spoken and written proficiency in German, and spoken and written proficiency in English.
       
    • You have a quick grasp, you’re very articulate and love to write.
       
    • At least 5 years’ job experience in a comparable position, ideally in a brand PR environment within a company or a PR agency with an international focus.
       
    • Good knowledge of the German and international media landscapes, plus Social Media affinity.
       
    • You feel at ease in an agile environment, you act independently, and bring along a high degree of empathy for matters inside and outside of our organisation.
       
    • Lots of creativity and passion for digital trends/topics as well as good knowledge of visual communication complement your profile.
       
    • Good research capabilities, always looking further, and finding fun in creative challenges.
